Kingfisher series tops Cranberry Sherbet in ratings after hiatus.
The TV series Kingfisher started the season off strong, consistently winning the top spot in all audience groups with double-digit ratings. However, issues with the storyline and the popularity of the Nursema character in the series Cranberry Sherbet shifted the balance.
In the Friday competition, Cranberry Sherbet stole the show with the captivating storyline of Nursema, leading to long-term success in the AB and ABC1 categories. However, the series suffered a decline in viewership after returning to the screen following a 2-week punishment given by RTÜK.
While Kingfisher maintained its first place spot in the all people category, it saw competition from rivals in the AB and ABC1 categories. But in the most recent week, Kingfisher made a comeback to take first place in both all people and ABC1 groups with its 31st episode, finishing second in the EU group.
Cranberry Sherbet, however, only placed in the EU group, losing its psychological advantage to Kingfisher. The series suffered from a penalty issue that damaged its viewership and is no longer able to achieve double-digit ratings in any category. It now holds second place behind Kingfisher in all individuals and ABC1 groups.
