Knife Attacker on the Loose in Istanbul After Eskisehir – News
A teenager in Kayaşehir District of Başakşehir district went on a stabbing rampage yesterday evening, injuring three people. The shocking incident, captured on mobile phone cameras by bystanders, shows the attacker randomly targeting people on Rabia Street.
Prior to the attack, the suspect, identified as a 17-year-old named MG, was seen preparing for the assault by taking out a knife and a piece of cloth from his bag at a secluded spot. After the preparations, he proceeded to stab three individuals who crossed his path. Security cameras also caught this chilling moment.
It was later revealed that the attacker was influenced by violent computer games and attempted to enter a school in the vicinity. Fortunately, he was apprehended by the police before causing further harm.
The victims, identified as E.Ç., SY, and HFE, were promptly taken to the hospital in serious condition. Their health status remains critical at this time. The assailant has undergone police procedures and is now awaiting trial.
