Ambassador Aida Ismailova Discusses Potential Expansion of Flights with Asiana Airlines
In a recent meeting between Ambassador Aida Ismailova, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Korea, and Vice President of Asiana Airlines, Jong Min Kim, discussions were held regarding the growing interest in Kyrgyzstan as a tourist destination.
Ambassador Ismailova highlighted the unique natural attractions and favorable conditions for tourism in Kyrgyzstan, noting the increasing interest among South Korean citizens in visiting the country. She proposed the idea of expanding flight options with Asiana Airlines to include not only the Seoul to Bishkek route but also seasonal flights to Tamchy (Issyk-Kul Lake) and Karakol, especially during peak tourist seasons.
Jong Min Kim expressed his familiarity with the picturesque landscapes of Kyrgyzstan and acknowledged the high interest of South Korean tourists in the country. He stated that Asiana Airlines would consider the possibility of opening both regular and charter flights to Kyrgyzstan in response to the growing demand from tourists.
