
KPSS Secondary Education Exam Scheduled for Tomorrow – Breaking News

The Center for Measurement, Selection and Placement (ÖSYM) has announced details for the upcoming 2024-KPSS Secondary Education exam, which will be held in 81 provinces and the capital of TRNC, Lefkoşa. A total of 227 exam centers, 5,683 buildings, and 99,765 halls will be utilized for the exam on Sunday.
Candidates taking the exam will be presented with 120 questions for general ability and general culture tests and will have 130 minutes to complete them. Disabled candidates who require additional time will be allowed an extra 30 minutes. In case of any issues with identification, provincial and district population directorates will be open on the exam day to assist candidates.
The results of the exam are expected to be announced on October 4. A staggering 1,864,867 candidates have applied for the exam, with 900,148 being female and 964,719 male. The number of exam centers has been increased to 227 to accommodate the growing number of candidates, with a total of 260,094 individuals working on the exam.
ÖSYM President Prof. Dr. Bayram Ali Ersoy emphasized the importance of facilitating candidates’ access to the exam by increasing the number of centers. The majority of applicants fall within the age range of 18-23, with Istanbul, Ankara, Adana, and Izmir having the highest number of applications.
Furthermore, veterans, spouses, and children of martyrs and veterans are exempt from the exam fee, with 6,155 candidates benefiting from this right. Additionally, 3,908 disabled candidates will take part in the exam, with special attention given to ensuring they do not face any difficulties.
Ersoy advised candidates to prepare their identification and exam entry documents in advance and wished success to all those taking the exam. The rigorous preparations and security measures in place aim to ensure a smooth and fair exam process for all participants.
