Turkish Cypriot Journalists Association Condemns Threats Against Journalists Following Donkey Massacre Investigation
The recent murder of 16 free donkeys in Dipkarpaz has sparked outrage and led to the detention of four suspects for two more days. One of the suspects in the case has caused further controversy by making threats against journalists following the judicial process.
The Turkish Cypriot Journalists Association and Press Workers’ Union have both issued statements condemning the threatening words directed at journalists in relation to the donkey massacre investigation.
