Kumtor in Productive Talks with Danish Corporation

President of Kumtor Gold Company, Almazbek Baryktabasov, and Vice President of FLSmidth, Alexey Kutilin, met to discuss cooperation at the mining and geological forum MINEX Central Asia 2024.
During the meeting, Kutilin highlighted the longstanding partnership between FLSmidth and Kumtor Gold Company, dating back over 30 years. He mentioned that equipment from FLSmidth was previously used at the Kumtor mine and expressed interest in further collaboration.
In response, Baryktabasov expressed the company’s readiness to explore opportunities for cooperation with FLSmidth in supplying equipment for the mining industry and implementing cutting-edge technological solutions to enhance production efficiency.
Both parties agreed to continue discussions on various areas of mutual interest.
