Kuwait Seeks to Recruit Medical Professionals from Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Ayubkhan Yunusov recently held a meeting with the head of the Jarallah Al-Aani Centers Group and the Executive Director of Kuwait Medical International. During the meeting, the leaders of the center expressed their admiration for the level of training provided to doctors and nurses in Uzbekistan. They also discussed the possibility of recruiting these qualified medical professionals to work in Kuwait.
There is a growing demand in Kuwait for nursing staff who are proficient in English and are familiar with medical standards from countries like the UK and Germany. The Kuwaiti side has expressed their readiness to hire up to 500 medical workers (nurses) from Uzbekistan to meet this demand.
The negotiations also touched upon important topics such as the mutual recognition of workers’ diplomas and the measures that will be taken to help Uzbek nurses adapt to working in Kuwait. This includes the organization of language courses and cultural exchange programs to ensure a smooth transition for the medical workers.
Overall, the meeting between the Uzbekistan Ambassador and the Kuwaiti medical leaders highlights the potential for collaboration between the two countries in the healthcare sector. It not only presents a valuable opportunity for Uzbek medical professionals to gain international experience but also helps Kuwait meet its staffing needs in the healthcare industry.
