Kyrgyz Climbers Conquer Highest Peaks, Receive Warm Welcome in Bishkek
Kyrgyzstani Climbers Honored in Bishkek
A group of climbers, who proudly raised the flag of Kyrgyzstan on the highest peaks around the world, were warmly welcomed in the capital city of Bishkek. The Mountaineering and Climbing Federation of Kyrgyzstan, led by president Eduard Kubatov, organized a festive ceremony at Manas International Airport to celebrate the achievements of these remarkable individuals.
Eduard Kubatov himself set a new record by successfully conquering Lhotse and Makalu peaks in the Himalayas of Nepal without the use of supplemental oxygen. His determination and skill have brought great pride to the nation and inspired many aspiring climbers.
Among the honored climbers was Kadyr Saidilkan, who had previously reached the summit of Mount Everest. This time, he reached the top of Lhotse at an impressive altitude of 8,516 meters above sea level, presenting a special “Manas” book as a symbol of Kyrgyzstan’s rich cultural heritage.
Another member of the delegation, Ilim Karypbekov, also made history by becoming the fourth Kyrgyzstani to conquer Mount Everest, the highest peak on the planet. His bravery and perseverance serve as a shining example to others who dare to dream of reaching great heights.
The achievements of these Kyrgyzstani climbers not only demonstrate their individual skills and determination but also showcase the spirit of adventure and exploration that is deeply ingrained in the people of Kyrgyzstan. Their success has brought honor to the nation and inspired a new generation of mountaineers to follow in their footsteps.
