Kyrgyz Garment Workers to Exhibit Products at Letofest in Yekaterinburg
On July 12, 2024, the Consul General of Kyrgyzstan in Yekaterinburg, Maksat Tentimishov, had a meeting with Oleg Gusev, the President of the Equestrian Federation, businessman, and philanthropist. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the International Industrial Exhibition Innoprom-2024. Representatives of clothing companies from Kyrgyzstan were also present at the meeting.
During the discussion, Oleg Gusev introduced a pilot project for the creation of a sports-industrial cluster and expressed interest in collaborating with Kyrgyz factories that produce sportswear. He extended an invitation to Kyrgyz textile companies to participate in Letofest, scheduled for July 27-28 at the Dubrava recreation center. At the event, domestic factories will have the opportunity to showcase their products on provided platforms.
The Kyrgyz entrepreneurs expressed gratitude for the invitation and showed keen interest in potential collaborations. Consul General Maksat Tentimishov encouraged the clothing companies to actively engage in events and exhibitions in Yekaterinburg as a means to expand their market presence.
