Kyrgyz MP Kamchybek Tashiev’s Visit to the UK
Bishkek – The President of the Kyrgyz Football Union, Kamchybek Tashiev, recently held talks with the management of Aston Villa Football Club in the UK during his working visit. The discussions centered on potential cooperation between the two parties in various aspects of football development.
One of Tashiev’s supporters, Otkurbek Rakhmanov, shared on Facebook that the meeting focused on training and advanced training for coaching staff in Kyrgyz Republic with the involvement of Aston Villa specialists. Additionally, they discussed exchanging experiences in youth and children’s football, organizing joint training camps and friendly matches involving Kyrgyz clubs, as well as establishing an exchange program for future Kyrgyz football players.
A major point of discussion was the development of marketing opportunities through the Aston Villa brand, including joint projects to promote Kyrgyzstan’s culture and tourism. Tashiev highlighted that collaborating with Aston Villa will bring new opportunities for Kyrgyz football on the international stage. The English club recognized the high potential of Kyrgyz football and expressed their willingness to support joint initiatives.
Both parties agreed to strengthen sports ties between the Kyrgyz Republic and Great Britain, which is seen as a significant step towards enhancing the football infrastructure in the country and nurturing young talents. Tashiev, who is also the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, has been serving as the President of the Kyrgyz Football Union since February 2024.
Overall, the discussions between Kamchybek Tashiev and Aston Villa show a promising future for Kyrgyz football with potential collaborations that will boost the sport’s development in the country.
