Kyrgyz MP Kamchybek Tashiev’s Visit to the UK

Bishkek – The President of the Kyrgyz Football Union, Kamchybek Tashiev, recently held talks with the management of Aston Villa Football Club in the UK during his working visit. The discussions centered on potential cooperation between the two parties in various aspects of football development.

Tashiev highlighted that collaborating with Aston Villa will bring new opportunities for Kyrgyz football on the international stage. Both parties agreed to strengthen sports ties between the Kyrgyz Republic and Great Britain, which is seen as a significant step towards enhancing the football infrastructure in the country and nurturing young talents. Tashiev, who is also the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, has been serving as the President of the Kyrgyz Football Union since February 2024.
