Kyrgyz Nationals Suspected of Robbery Detained in Moscow
Three Kyrgyz nationals have been detained in Moscow on suspicion of robbery, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the information provided, the men allegedly broke into the house of their compatriots, threatened them with a knife, and beat them before robbing them. Items stolen during the incident included an expensive mobile phone, money, and jewelry. A criminal case has been initiated under article 162 part 3 (robbery committed with illegal entry into a dwelling, on a large scale) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
The suspects, a 21-year-old resident of Batken region, a 28-year-old resident of Kara-Kuldzha district of Osh region, and another 28-year-old resident of Kara-Suu district of Osh region, had all travelled to Moscow in search of job opportunities.
Investigative and operational measures are currently ongoing, with authorities looking into the possibility of their involvement in other serious crimes. The cooperation between the territorial law enforcement agencies of Russia and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic has been crucial in the apprehension of the suspects.
