Kyrgyz President emphasizes the importance of quality production during visit to Uchkun OJSC
Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov recently paid a visit to Uchkun OJSC, where he took the time to familiarize himself with the production activities of the enterprise. During the visit, he was informed about the output, including the volume of educational materials for general educational organizations, the work of the newspaper and magazine shop, and the production of documents of state importance.
The President stressed the importance of the management of the printing house paying close attention to the quality of products, including textbooks, and meeting relevant deadlines. He also highlighted that Uchkun is equipped with all the necessary equipment to independently produce documents of state importance, including passports.
Japarov took the opportunity to discuss the government’s efforts to overcome the well-coordinated passport mafia, which he stated had caused billions of soms of damage to the country and jeopardized national security. He emphasized the scale of corruption in the forgery of passports and the extensive impact it had on the country.
The visit to Uchkun OJSC provided the President with valuable insights into the production processes, as well as an opportunity to reiterate the government’s commitment to tackling corruption and ensuring the quality and integrity of important documents.
