Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Approves Public-Private Partnership Project for Development of Trans-Eurasian Railway Network

In a recent development, the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has adopted a resolution approving the implementation of a public-private partnership project (PPP) for the development of the internal railway network of Kyrgyzstan known as the “Trans-Eurasian Route.” This project will be implemented in the “sandbox” mode, allowing for collaboration between the public and private sectors.

The state enterprise Kyrgyz Temir Zholu National Company under the Ministry of Transport will be the partner from the Kyrgyz side, while All American Rail Group Global Infrastructure Partner LLC will participate in the project from the American side. The National Investment Agency has been tasked with signing a PPP agreement with All American Rail Group Global Infrastructure Partner LLC.

Once the agreement is signed, detailed development of the project, including its financial aspects, will be carried out by the public and private partners involved. The Department for Control over the Execution of Decisions of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers will oversee the implementation of the resolution.
