Kyrgyz rock band The Rolls to rock The Beatles Festival in Liverpool.
Bishkek – The popular rock band from Kyrgyzstan, The Rolls, is set to make their debut at The Beatles world festival. According to the band’s website, they are thrilled to be a part of the international Beatleweek, the largest festival dedicated to The Beatles’ work, which is held annually in Liverpool, United Kingdom.
Originally scheduled to perform at the festival in 2020, the band was unable to attend due to the global coronavirus pandemic. However, they are now gearing up to participate in the festival taking place from August 21 to August 27, 2024. The event will showcase 70 music bands from around the world, with The Rolls being the only representative from the CIS countries.
Lead guitarist Daniyar Dzhumanazarov expressed his excitement about the opportunity, stating, “This is not just a dream, but a goal for the musicians in our group. We are passionate about promoting The Beatles’ music and to be able to perform at this renowned festival in Liverpool is truly a significant milestone for us. The universal appeal of The Beatles’ songs that touch on themes of love, peace, and human experiences resonates with people worldwide.”
