Kyrgyzstan and Rosatom Review Reclamation Work in Min-Kush

The Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, Boobek Azhikeev, and Deputy Director General of Rosatom, Nikolay Spassky, recently conducted a working visit to Min-Kush village in Naryn region. The visit was aimed at assessing the progress of reclamation work at former uranium production sites, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan.

The reclamation work is being carried out in compliance with international safety standards set by the IAEA. Currently, the reclamation of Kak and Taldy-Bulak tailing dumps has been successfully completed, with activities at the Tuyuk-Suu site nearing completion.
