Kyrgyzstan Appoints New Spokesperson for Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Azamat Kaybaliev Appointed as New Press Secretary of Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs
On March 5, 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan announced the appointment of 42-year-old Azamat Kaybaliev as the new press secretary. With over 19 years of experience in the foreign affairs system, Kaybaliev is well-equipped to take on his new role.
Having graduated from Ataturk-Ala-Too International University with a degree in international relations, Kaybaliev has held various diplomatic positions both within the Ministry’s central office and abroad. He started his career as a secretary and has since worked as an attaché in the Department of International Economic Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Throughout his career, Kaybaliev has served as the second and third secretary at the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Malaysia, worked in various departments within the Ministry, and even held positions at Kyrgyzstan’s embassies in Qatar and Kazakhstan. His experience also includes advising on international organizations and security matters.
Fluent in the state and official languages, as well as English and Turkish, Kaybaliev holds the diplomatic rank of First-Class Counselor. His extensive background in international relations and diplomacy makes him a valuable asset to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
As the new press secretary, Kaybaliev is expected to bring his expertise and skills to effectively communicate and represent the interests of Kyrgyzstan on the global stage. Congratulations to Azamat Kaybaliev on his new role!
