Kyrgyzstan authorities detain 30 members of terrorist cell

At least 30 individuals have been detained in Kyrgyzstan in connection to an underground terrorist cell, as reported by the press center of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (SCNS). The arrests took place on February 27th, and it was revealed that the individuals were members of a group linked to a foreign international terrorist organization.
The SCNS disclosed that the detained individuals were involved in secret meetings, promoting radical ideology, and fundraising to support terrorist activities. One of the detainees was even found in possession of a tutorial on creating explosive devices.
The primary objective of the radical group was to carry out acts of jihad against the constitutional order of the Kyrgyz Republic, with plans for terrorist attacks targeting government officials, security forces, and law enforcement personnel.
The SCNS has assured the public that they are closely monitoring and taking action against any threats posed by extremist groups in the country to ensure the safety and security of its citizens.
