Kyrgyzstan Border Checkpoints Expose 70 Import Violations

Border veterinary control points revealed 70 violations in import of goods in 2023

At least 70 violations have been revealed at the border veterinary control points in the process of import of goods in 2023. The Deputy Director of the Veterinary Service Bakyt Sharapov said at a press conference.
According to him, acts were drawn up in respect of violators, imports were returned back:
To Kazakhstan— 54 acts of return;
Uzbekistan— 15;
To China— 1.
In total, there are 29 veterinary control points in the country, 18 of them— on the state border, 4 points of temporary storage, 5 points— at railway stations and 2— at international airports.
