Unstable Weather Expected in Kyrgyzstan
Bishkek – 15:55, 28 June 2024 – The 24.kg news agency has reported that unstable weather is expected in Kyrgyzstan according to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The ministry has stated that heavy rains are expected from June 28 to July 2, which could lead to mudflows and rising water levels in rivers, especially in the mountainous and foothill areas.
In order to prevent flooding, the Ministry of Emergency Situations is recommending that residents clean ditches, strengthen river banks, and avoid throwing garbage into irrigation canals.
