Kyrgyzstan athletes have won a total of 12 medals in the Asia and Oceania Sambo Championships in Astana running from June 7 to June 11. This was reported by the Sambo.sport website. The competition among juniors and masters took place on the second day of the tournament.
The juniors won two silver medals and five bronze medals in combat sambo, while the masters won five bronze medals. On the first day of the tournament, Kyrgyzstanis won medals in the SVI-1 tournament for the blind and visually impaired, with Beksultan Abdakhim uulu winning a gold medal, and Suimonkul Moldobekov winning a silver medal.
