Kyrgyzstan Dominates at Kurosh World Championship: Secures First Four Medals
The World Championship in Kyrgyz Kurosh and the President’s Cup are currently taking place in Bishkek, showcasing top talent from around the world.
The State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports has reported that the Kyrgyz national team has already achieved great success on the first day of the competitions, winning a total of four medals.
Begai Beishenaaly kyzy claimed the gold medal in the weight category up to 60 kilograms, while her teammate Begaim Akbalaeva secured the bronze medal in the same category. Aidana Kubanychbekova took the second place in the weight category up to 65 kilograms, demonstrating the team’s strength across different weight divisions. Nazira Aryzbekova also brought home a bronze medal in the over 65 kilograms weight category.
In addition, Baktiyar Mirlan uulu emerged victorious in the President’s Cup in the absolute division, solidifying Kyrgyzstan’s dominance in the competition. Bekbolot Toktogonov also put on a commendable performance, clinching third place in the event.
