Kyrgyzstan Wins 15 Medals at World Nomad Games
Bishkek – On September 12, the team of Kyrgyzstan achieved remarkable success at the World Nomad Games in Kazakhstan, winning a total of 15 medals. This impressive feat was reported on the Games’ official website.
During the fifth day of competition, the Kyrgyz team secured five gold, four silver, and six bronze medals, showcasing their skill and determination. With this outstanding performance, Kyrgyzstan once again claimed the second spot in the overall medal standings.
The Kyrgyz Republic excelled in a variety of traditional nomadic sports, including kok boru, kokpar, ovari, ashyrtmaly aba gyureshi, tenge alu, mas-wrestling, audaryspak, archery, alysh, and kuresh.
Noteworthy was the victory of the kok boru team from Kyrgyzstan, who emerged triumphant over the team from Kazakhstan in the final match with a score of 10:4.
As the World Nomad Games in Astana near their conclusion, the closing ceremony is set to take place today. Due to budget constraints, the ceremony will be held in a protocol format and will not be open to spectators.
