Kyrgyzstan Establishes State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports

In an effort to promote the development of physical culture and sports in Kyrgyzstan, the State Agency of Physical Culture and Sports has been established under the Cabinet of Ministers. This new agency will operate independently from the Department of Physical Culture and Sports under the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
President Sadyr Japarov signed the decree to create this new state body, with the aim of concentrating powers and resources to effectively develop the sector. The establishment of the State Agency will also ensure the continuity of programs, the development of sports infrastructure, and proper international representation of the country’s interests in the realm of physical culture and sports.
This move signifies a commitment to prioritizing the promotion and advancement of physical culture and sports in Kyrgyzstan, highlighting the importance of investing in the sector for the benefit of the nation. The State Agency of Physical Culture and Sports is set to play a key role in fostering the growth and success of sports and physical activities in the country.
