Kyrgyzstanis Warned of Extension of Regulatory Measures
Residents of Kyrgyzstan have been cautioned about the extension of regulatory measures in response to high electricity consumption and power shortages. According to reports received by 24.kg news agency, consumers recently received a notification from the National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan OJSC.
The message stated that due to the repair of hydraulic units and the increased demand for electricity, regulatory measures will be extended into the evening and night. The organization apologized for any inconvenience caused and requested understanding from the public.
This announcement comes just four days after the Ministry of Energy had announced the suspension of power outages. The ongoing power supply challenges in the country continue to be a concern for residents, as efforts are being made to address the situation.
