New Digital Health Profile Service for Children Launched in Kyrgyzstan
On December 2nd, 2023, the Ministry of Health in Kyrgyzstan announced the launch of a new Digital Health Profile service for children. This service aims to provide parents with easy access to important health information about their minor children.
The Digital Health Profile includes data on registration with a healthcare organization, insurance status, visits to healthcare organizations, laboratory test results, vaccinations, and more. Parents can access this information by opening the Tunduk mobile application, selecting “Digital Health Profile” on the main page, and choosing the desired profile.
This new service will allow parents to become more involved in their children’s healthcare, as well as provide them with crucial health information. To ensure secure access to medical information, parents must have a cloud-based electronic digital signature.
In addition to accessing health information, the service will also begin sending personal notifications in the near future. These notifications may include reminders about vaccinations or updates on the readiness of laboratory test results.
The implementation of this initiative was made possible with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development. The Digital Health Profile service is expected to greatly benefit parents and healthcare providers in Kyrgyzstan, as it provides a convenient and secure way to access and manage children’s health information.
