Kyrgyzstan Schools Set to Start on September 2nd
The Ministry of Education and Science in Kyrgyzstan has announced that the first day of school for students will be on September 2nd. This information was shared by Minister Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva during a press conference.
It has been reported that over 113,000 children have already been enrolled in the first grade. There are still available spots in some schools in the capital city, and electronic enrollment will continue until August 30th.
Originally, September 2nd was scheduled to be a day off due to the public holiday on August 31st, which is Independence Day. However, since the holiday falls on a weekend, the next working day is considered a day off. As Kyrgyzstanis already had a day off on January 5th, September 2nd will be a regular working day.
Parents and students are encouraged to complete the enrollment process by the deadline and prepare for the start of the new school year on September 2nd.
