Kyrgyzstan Sees Almost 100,000 Entrepreneurs Embrace Electronic Consignment Notes

Bishkek – 24.kg news agency reported that as of November 4, 2023, there are currently 98,096 registered entrepreneurs in Kyrgyzstan who are utilizing electronic consignment notes within the information system of the Tax Service. This information was provided by the press service of the Tax Service.

The electronic consignment notes system has generated a total of 12.3 million electronic documents for businesses. Out of these documents, 9.9 million are sales documents, 855,400 are write-offs, 567,700 are movements, and 948,900 are capitalization documents. In addition, there are currently 115,536 active warehouses in the system.

The implementation of the electronic consignment notes system began on May 15 of the previous year, being initially limited to taxpayers involved in the circulation of oil, petroleum products, and specific goods. From July 1, 2022, the system was expanded to include taxpayers engaged in the circulation of goods approved by the Eurasian Economic Commission. Finally, starting on January 1, 2023, entities conducting the turnover of goods are required to use electronic consignment notes.

The Tax Service highlighted the advantages of using electronic consignment notes, such as improved efficiency and faster exchange of information between business entities. Previously, sending paper documents would take days or even weeks, whereas now electronic documents containing product information, sender and recipient details, and delivery vehicle information can be exchanged with counterparts within minutes.

This implementation is expected to streamline business operations and enhance the efficiency of document management within the country.
