Kyrgyzstan Signs Visa-Free Agreement with 5 Countries for Diplomats.
Bishkek, January 30, 2025 – The Parliament of Kyrgyzstan has approved agreements put forth by the Cabinet of Ministers to abolish visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and service passports with several countries. This decision was made in three readings at once, signaling a significant change in visa regulations.
The visa regime has been abolished with Albania, Montenegro, Cyprus, Venezuela, and Thailand. This means that holders of diplomatic and service passports from Kyrgyzstan can now travel to these countries without the need for a visa and stay for up to 90 days. Additionally, citizens holding diplomatic and service passports from these five countries will also be allowed to stay in Kyrgyzstan without obtaining a visa.
