Kyrgyzstan to Commission Six More Football Stadiums in First Half of 2025

Kyrgyzstan is set to commission six more football stadiums in the first half of 2025, as announced by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, at an event celebrating the 100th anniversary of sports and physical culture in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Special attention is being given to the construction of an international-class stadium in Orok village, designed to accommodate 51,000 spectators and meeting FIFA standards.
In addition, a number of key sports facilities are undergoing large-scale reconstruction, including the Dolon Omurzakov Stadium in Bishkek, Kurmanbek Stadium in Jalal-Abad, Sports Complex in Kochkor-Ata, Suyunbaev Stadium in Osh, My Sports Complex in War-White, National Football Academy in Bishkek, and the Muras United training base in Bishkek.
Highlighting the government’s commitment to sports, the Chairman announced an increase in funding for the industry.
“In the last five years, the Kyrgyz Republic has significantly boosted funding for the sports industry. From 800 million soms in 2020, the budget for 2025 has now reached 2.5 billion soms. These funds will be utilized to develop sports infrastructure across the country,” he stated.
