Kyrgyzstan to host International Forum on Investments in Health Care in Central Asia

Kyrgyzstan is set to host the International Forum on Investments in Health Care in Central Asia on June 26-27. This event was discussed by Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan, Alymkadyr Beishenaliev, during a meeting with Director of the WHO Regional Office for Europe, Hans Kluge, at the 7th meeting of Health Ministers of SCO Member States in Astana, Kazakhstan.

The forum, which will be held under the patronage of President Sadyr Japarov, will invite Ministers of Health from Central Asia and neighboring countries, as well as representatives from international organizations. The agenda includes strategically oriented thematic round tables focusing on investment aspects of key health issues, best practices, investment directions, and solutions for the benefit of Central Asian countries.

Minister Beishenaliev expressed gratitude to Hans Kluge for his assistance in organizing the investment forum and highlighted WHO as one of the main partners that supports the health sector in Kyrgyzstan. The assistance from WHO is vital in improving the health and well-being of the population in the country.

Furthermore, Kyrgyzstan will also host two additional important events in collaboration with WHO this year: a race in celebration of World Health Day and the First Congress of Medical Workers in the country.

The upcoming International Forum on Investments in Health Care in Central Asia is expected to provide a platform for valuable discussions, knowledge sharing, and partnerships to enhance healthcare in the region.
