Kyrgyzstan to Launch Telerehabilitation Digital Project on Global Scale
Bishkek, October 22, 2024 – The Republican Institution of Orthopedic Products under the Ministry of Labor and Motorika, along with the President of Skolkovo, has signed a Memorandum for the international telerehabilitation digital project ATTILAN. This groundbreaking project, aimed at revolutionizing rehabilitation efforts, will be implemented in the CIS countries, with Kyrgyzstan serving as the first pilot country.
The Ministry of Labor of Kyrgyzstan stated that ATTILAN is a comprehensive digital system comprising of a website, mobile application, computer programs, and databases. It will facilitate communication and collaboration between individuals with disabilities, manufacturers of prosthetic devices, rehabilitation centers, and other relevant organizations.
Key features of ATTILAN include a catalog of technical rehabilitation equipment and prosthetic products, electronic application submission for manufacturing and repair, patient management, prosthetic chip tracking, usage statistics, notifications, and care instructions for prosthetic devices.
This innovative project is set to transform the way rehabilitation services are delivered in the region, providing efficient and streamlined access to essential resources for individuals with disabilities. The launch of ATTILAN marks a significant step towards improving the quality of life and opportunities for people in need of orthopedic assistance.
