
Kyrgyzstani Films Shine at XXII International Sports Film Festival

The XXII International Sports Film Festival is currently taking place from October 24 to October 29 at various venues in Moscow and Moscow Oblast. According to the website of the event, free screenings of competition films, along with creative meetings with filmmakers and renowned athletes, are being organized for visitors. The Film Festival is being led by three-time Olympic figure skating champion Irina Rodnina.
The festival program consists of over 50 documentaries, feature films, and animation works created by filmmakers from Russia, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Serbia, and Croatia. The jury, headed by director Natalya Bondarchuk, will be responsible for determining the winners in 12 different categories, as well as awarding the Grand Prix.
This showcase of sports-related films aims to celebrate the intersection of sports and cinema, highlighting the stories, struggles, and triumphs of athletes from around the world. It provides a platform for filmmakers to share their unique perspectives on the world of sports and the human experience that transcends boundaries.
