Kyrgyzstani Man Arrested in Vladivostok for Alleged Attempted Murder
Bishkek Resident Suspected of Attempted Murder in Russia
On December 17, 2024, the Investigative Committee of Russia for Primorsky Krai announced that a native of Kyrgyzstan is under investigation for an attempted murder of a local resident in a computer club. The suspect, a 32-year-old individual, allegedly stabbed a 20-year-old local resident in the head with a screwdriver during a quarrel on December 15, 2024.
Fortunately, eyewitnesses were able to intervene and stop the attack before the victim sustained fatal injuries. The victim was able to leave the scene, and the suspect was subsequently detained by authorities. Currently, the Investigative Committee is determining the appropriate preventive measures, which may include detention for the suspect.
