Kyrgyzstani Tennis Players Secure Medals in Oman Tournament
Kyrgyzstan’s Under-14 Tennis Team Shines at ITF ASIA 14 & UNDER DEVELOPMENT CHAMPIONSHIPS
Bishkek – 13:12, 18 January 2025 – The national tennis team of Kyrgyzstan under 14 years old is making waves at the ITF ASIA 14 & UNDER DEVELOPMENT CHAMPIONSHIPS in Oman, which is being held from January 13-23. The Tennis Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic proudly announced the team’s success on social media.
Led by coach Nelli Buyuklyanova, the Kyrgyz athletes are participating in the regional qualifying stage of the tournament for Western and Central Asia. Among the standout performances, Saara Myzaeva and Eva Gavshina from Kyrgyzstan clinched the top spot in the doubles category, defeating tennis players from Lebanon in the final match. Additionally, Maxim Kim and Bakai Aseinov secured second place in the doubles event.
Saara Myzaeva claimed a gold medal for her exceptional performance, while Eva Gavshina took home the silver. In the singles category, Bakai Aseinov finished in third place after a hard-fought battle against Maxim Kim, ultimately winning in three sets.
The young Kyrgyz tennis talents have demonstrated outstanding skills and sportsmanship on the international stage, bringing pride to their nation. The future looks bright for the country’s tennis prospects, and supporters are eagerly looking forward to more successes from these promising athletes.
