Bishkek – On June 25, 2024, Nursadyk Nurdinov achieved a remarkable feat by winning a gold medal at the Asian U17 Freestyle Wrestling Championship held in Amman, Jordan. This victory was reported by United World Wrestling.
Competing in the weight category up to 65 kilograms, Nurdinov showcased his skills and defeated athletes from Iraq, Mongolia, and Kazakhstan on his way to the final match. In the championship match, he emerged victorious against a wrestler from India, solidifying his position as a champion in his category.
In addition to Nurdinov’s success, another talented Kyrgyzstani athlete, Samidullo Alimzhanov, also had a notable performance at the championship.
