Kyrgyzstanis Now Able to Apply Online for Hungarian University Admission
The Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship program, launched by the government of Hungary for those wishing to get higher education in this country, was the subject of a meeting in Bishkek today. The Embassy of Hungary informed 24.kg news agency about the event.
The program, which turned 10 in 2023, has been implemented in Kyrgyzstan since 2017, when 25 quotas were allocated. To date, there are already 200 of them. 28 higher educational institutions in Hungary participate in it, providing more than 1,200 directions in English and Hungarian.
The application process for the Stipendium Hungaricum program consists of several stages, including submitting an online application on the official website before January 15, 2024. The platform is now open, and applicants can start filling out their profile and application. It is also necessary to simultaneously fill out an application through the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The organizers expressed hope for further cooperation and an increase in the number of Kyrgyz students receiving education at Hungarian universities. With the increasing number of quotas and directions available, the program offers an opportunity for Kyrgyz students to pursue their higher education in Hungary.
