Kyrgyzstanis to Choose Delegates for Kurultai in Russia
Bishkek – The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Moscow has announced that delegates to the People’s Kurultai from among Kyrgyz citizens living and working in Russia will soon be selected. The forum is scheduled to take place on December 20 in Bishkek.
A total of 14 individuals will be chosen as delegates in accordance with the approved quota. The Embassy is currently accepting applications from Kyrgyz public organizations in Russia who wish to nominate candidates for the kurultai. The deadline for applications is November 4, and they can be submitted to the following address: Moscow, Bolshaya Ordynka Street, Building 64, postal code 115127.
Certain criteria have been set for potential delegates. Government and municipal employees, deputies of the Parliament and local councils, foreign citizens (excluding labor migrants abroad), persons deemed incompetent by a court decision, individuals with a criminal record for serious crimes, and those under 21 are not eligible to participate in the People’s Kurultai.
It is important for Kyrgyz citizens in Russia to be aware of these guidelines and to submit their applications before the deadline in order to have a chance at being selected as a delegate for this important forum.
