Kyrgyzstan’s Aeronavigation Agency Plans Flight Route to Kashgar

Additionally, Omurov highlighted a grant agreement between JICA and the Kyrgyz Republic, focusing on improving traffic management at international airports. As part of this agreement, a new air traffic control tower will be constructed at Osh airport, replacing the existing tower that dates back to the Soviet era. This upgrade will bring modern technologies and enhanced capabilities to ensure efficient and safe air traffic management.

Furthermore, the Kyrgyzaeronavigatsiya state enterprise has also invested in new equipment for more precise weather and climate forecasting at Osh airport, further enhancing the overall operational efficiency and safety standards at the airport.
