Kyrgyzstan Sets Five Key Development Goals for 2024
Bishkek, 03 November 2023 – The country’s authorities have announced five key development goals for the year 2024. Akylbek Japarov, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, revealed these goals at the National Poverty and Inequality Development Forum.
Japarov emphasized that the government’s accomplishments in the past three years have laid a strong foundation for tackling new ambitious tasks aimed at creating a prosperous and robust state.
During his address, Japarov outlined the following goals:
1. Strengthening the institutional capacity of the state in terms of financial management and administrative reform.
2. Enhancing the quality of services in the fields of education and healthcare to promote innovative development and improve social well-being.
3. Developing and implementing strategies to foster sustainable economic growth and job creation, with a particular focus on regional development.
4. Expanding cooperation with international partners to mobilize resources, develop new technologies and knowledge, and access global financial markets. Special emphasis will be placed on promoting exports and attracting foreign investment.
5. Promoting environmental sustainability and mitigating the effects of global climate change.
“These goals serve as our compass, guiding us towards a prosperous and successful future for the Kyrgyz people,” stated Akylbek Japarov.
