In a recent development, the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has approved new rules for gambling establishments regarding reporting on their activities. These new regulations aim to enhance transparency and accountability within the industry.
Under the amendments, gambling establishments are now required to adhere to specific deadlines for submitting reports and disclosing information to the State Service for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market. This regulatory body will oversee the compliance of these establishments with the new reporting requirements.
According to the new rules, gambling establishments must disclose all information that is considered publicly available under the law. Both the establishments and their managers are responsible for accurately preparing these reports to ensure compliance with the regulations.
Furthermore, the State Service for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market has the authority to request additional data and documents from gambling establishments. It also has the discretion to share publicly available information with other relevant organizations for regulatory purposes.
In terms of reporting deadlines, gambling establishments are mandated to submit monthly and quarterly reports no later than the 25th day of the following month. Additionally, an annual report must be submitted within 95 days after the end of the year. This annual document should include key financial statements such as the balance sheet, income and expense report, and an audit report.
Overall, these new regulations are aimed at promoting transparency and accountability within the gambling industry in Kyrgyzstan. By ensuring that establishments comply with reporting requirements, the government hopes to regulate the sector more effectively and protect the interests of both consumers and the broader public.
