Kyrgyzstan Ranks 127th in Global Nation Brand Value
According to the latest Brand Finance ranking, Kyrgyzstan has been placed 127th out of 192 countries in terms of the value of nation brands around the world. The report, conducted by the 24.kg news agency, reveals that the United States of America holds the top spot as the most valuable nation brand with an estimated value of $37.3 trillion, showing a significant increase of 16 percent. China follows in second place with a more modest increase of 3 percent.
In Central Asia, Kazakhstan emerged as the leader, securing the 43rd position in the ranking. It is followed by Uzbekistan (55th place), Turkmenistan (80th), Kyrgyzstan (127th), Tajikistan (136th), and Afghanistan (144th).
The concept of nation brand value, as defined by Brand Finance, refers to the monetary value of a country’s reputation and image, which are influenced by economic activity and international standing. This assessment is greatly impacted by the Global Soft Power Index (GSPI), which reflects how a nation is perceived globally. Brand Finance utilizes data from reputable sources such as the IMF, the World Bank, and the United Nations to evaluate the financial strength of nation brands.
This ranking sheds light on the importance of a country’s reputation in the international arena and highlights the significance of building and maintaining a positive image on a global scale.
