Kyrgyzstan’s Honey Exports Reach 68 Tons in First 2 Months of 2025

Honey Exports from Kyrgyzstan Decline in 2025
According to the latest data from the National Statistical Committee, honey exports from Kyrgyzstan totaled 68 tons in the first two months of 2025. During this period, the Kyrgyz Republic exported honey worth $180,400.
Although the volume of export supplies increased by 8.8 tons compared to the same period in 2024, the export value decreased by $171,600. This decline is mainly attributed to the cessation of supplies to the United States.
It was previously reported that Kyrgyz honey was set to be included in the register of the European Union at the beginning of this year, which was expected to open up new market opportunities for the Kyrgyz honey industry.
The decrease in export value highlights the importance of diversifying export destinations and increasing market access for Kyrgyz honey producers. The industry will need to explore new partnerships and opportunities to sustain and grow its export market in the coming months.
