Members of the Council of Muslim Scholars of Kyrgyzstan and the mufti’s working group expressed their gratitude to Zamir Rakiev for his consistent work in developing kaziyats and khatibiyats in the regions.

Earlier, Rakiev had announced his resignation from his position as the Mufti of Kyrgyzstan at the central mosque in Bishkek before the Friday Prayer. He also mentioned that a new mufti of the Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of Kyrgyzstan would be elected within a month.
