Kyrgyzstan’s National Bank Sells Dollars for First Time in Months

Bishkek – On June 14, 2024, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan conducted currency intervention for the third time in a month, as reported on the bank’s website.
This intervention marked the first time since March 2024 that the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic sold dollars on the market. A total of $6,650 million worth of dollars were sold with settlements at different dates from the transaction.
Since the beginning of the year, the National Bank has carried out three interventions to sell dollars, totaling $38.5 million.
