Kyrgyzstan’s New Metal Production Plant to Produce 300,000 Tons Annually

On September 21, 2024, Deputy Director of the State Construction Agency Bakai Turdugulov visited a new metallurgical plant in the city of Kaiyndy in Panfilov district. This plant is set to produce 300,000 tons of metal products per year at its first stage, as reported by the agency.

The project is being carried out by Metal-Ken company with the support of the Chinese Fujian International Trade Corporation TAIHAO. More than 300 people are currently employed at the plant, with a majority of them being local residents. The Chinese partners are also actively involved in training the employees for the future management of the enterprise.

The plant specializes in the production of steel reinforcement, wire rod, and round bars that meet all necessary standards. The products have already garnered positive feedback in both local and international markets, leading to long-term contracts for supplies to the EAEU countries, Uzbekistan, and Europe.
