Kyrgyzstan’s Strong Alcohol Exports Reach 470,000 Liters in 2024

Kyrgyzstan Exports 470,000 Liters of Alcohol to Kazakhstan, Russia, and China
According to the latest report from the National Statistical Committee, Kyrgyzstan has exported 470,000 liters of strong drinks containing 100 percent alcohol to Kazakhstan, Russia, and China. The total amount of alcoholic beverage exports for the period of January to October 2024 reached 178 million soms, equivalent to $2 million.
However, despite the significant export numbers, there has been a noticeable decrease in export volumes compared to the same period last year. Export volumes have decreased by 64.6 percent, while revenue has decreased by 54.5 percent.
Despite the decrease in exports, Kazakhstan, Russia, and China have emerged as the main consumers of Kyrgyz alcoholic beverages in the international market. It remains to be seen how Kyrgyzstan will adjust its export strategies in the coming months to boost its alcohol exports to these key markets.
