On March 7, 2025, 11-year-old violinist Naima Rakhimzhanova from Kyrgyzstan will showcase her talent at the prestigious Patrimoine Musical (Musical Heritage) International Music Festival, taking place at UNESCO headquarters in Paris.

Despite facing difficulties in obtaining a visa to France, Naima persevered with the unwavering support of the festival organizers, the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in France, and the French Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, Mr. Nicolas Faye. Now, she is set to represent her country alongside musicians from around the world, hailing from Russia, Venezuela, Ireland, Malaysia, and other nations.

The festival, organized by AityshFrance Association with assistance from the Permanent Delegation of Kyrgyzstan to UNESCO, aims to showcase young talents and foster intercultural dialogue. Renowned violinist Daniel Lozakovich will serve as the festival’s guest of honor.

Initiated by filmmaker and Kyrgyz Ambassador to France Sadyk Sher-Niyaz, Consul of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in France Jyldyz Akmatova, and President of the Kyrgyz diaspora in France Elita Sultanalieva, the Patrimoine Musical International Festival at UNESCO promises to be a celebration of musical heritage and international camaraderie.
