Kyrgyzstan’s Top Baby Names of 2024 Revealed
The Population Registration Department under the Ministry of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan has revealed the most popular names given to newborn girls and boys in the second half of 2024.
According to the data, Aylin emerged as the top choice for girls, with a total of 2,365 babies in the Kyrgyz Republic being named this. On the other hand, Muhammad took the lead as the most popular name for boys, with 3,705 newborns receiving this name.
Other popular names for girls included Saliha (1,751), Morning (1,449), Amina (1,439), Fatima (1,343), Aliya (1,292), Aisha (1,170), Khadicha (1,139), Potatoes (1,091), and Rayana (1,052).
Meanwhile, the boys were named as follows:
– Umar (2,261)
– Ali (1,629)
– Amir (1,566)
– Usman (1,236)
– Alikhan (1,212)
– Bilal (1,113)
– Nurislam (884)
– Emir (852)
– Baykhan (815)
