Kyrgyzstan’s Wrestlers Claim Second Place at Asian Greco-Roman Championships

The Kyrgyz Greco-Roman wrestling team has achieved great success at the Asian Championships for athletes under 23 years old, securing the second spot in the team rankings. United World Wrestling has reported that the team from Kyrgyzstan managed to win three gold, one silver, and five bronze medals at the tournament.

Amanat Samat uulu, Asan Zhanyshov, and Nurmanbet Raimaly uulu were crowned champions in their respective weight categories of 67kg, 87kg, and 97kg. Arkyt Orozbekov also put up an impressive performance to win a silver medal in the 130kg weight class.

Other members of the Kyrgyz team who excelled at the championships include Akyl Sulaimanov (60kg), Adilkhan Nurlanbekov (72kg), Alibek Berdiev (77kg), Bekzat Orunkul uulu (82kg), and Azamat Kamilzhan uulu (55kg), all of whom secured third place finishes.
