Three Men Detained for Drug Trafficking in Kyrgyz Republic

On September 20th, officers of the State Service on Drug Control in the Kyrgyz Republic detained three men who were transporting drugs, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

A Daewoo Nexia was stopped at Sosnovka post, where officers discovered a 475-gram brick of hashish hidden under the hood of the car. The driver admitted to preparing the drugs in Toktogul district with two other individuals, with the intention of selling them in Bishkek.

The Zhaiyl District Court of Chui region has ordered the three men to be held in custody for two months as the investigation continues. The authorities are working diligently to prevent drug trafficking and hold those responsible accountable for their actions.
